Marion Soccer Tournament...A MUDDY, MUDDY Weekend!

We had a GREAT time this past weekend at the soccer tournament over in Marion, IL...despite the MUD! After the games on Saturday we hosed down at a car wash before going to our hotel...unbelievable! Here are the results for Matthew's team...he played a total of SIX games!

Jackson White vs. Saline Co.: W 4-1

Jackson White vs. Union Co. 2nd Grade: Tie 1-1

Jackson White vs. Marion 2nd Grade: L 6-1 (the other two teams that Marion 2nd grade played they beat 11-0 and 10-0...we were pretty proud with the kid's scoring 1! And, Matthew's team was the first team to score on them in two tournaments!)

Jackson White vs. Perryville Panthers: W 2-0

Semi-final game against Marion 2nd Graders (again!): L 5-0

Final Game playing for 3rd place: WON against Marion 1st graders: 3-0

So...the team ended up finishing in 3rd place out of 11 teams...not bad! Here are a few pictures of the weekend!

OMG! Coopers dad is the coach!! Greg and Nicole are the owners of Duke, which is who we hooked Sierra up with! We have one golden left by the way if you think you need a dog!!! Better act quick because they are going fast!! We have a female left! Pur-bred with papers. :) You know you want one!! And we ONLY want them to go to good families!! :)

YES...Greg is the coach and he is just fantastic! Matthew has learned so much from him in just the few short weeks in the fall and now the spring. OMG...we would take one in a heartbeat but with our yard not being fenced in we just can't...keep us in mind when Sierra has them again!!!!!

Okay, Heather...I just read the comments to Rob. Rob is sitting hear begging to get the dog...but I'm setting my foot down for now!!!!!! Yes, we have a partly fenced in yard but it was for a pool and it is all concrete!!! If and when we build at the farm we'll take one!
